One Night at Changi

one girl, one boy, one journey
well, at first two ways la... couldn't find each other at the huge T3... celaka
to the US and...

thank you boredom...

no.#1 : Drawing Competition!

baby and her art - coloring of Changi

my master piece and I

Of course, she wins la.. she practices more than I do. Don't remember when was the last time I held color pencils.

no.#2 : Posing with the Surroundings!

ohh oww.. LOST!

hiding from terrorist

ah pek wanna pang sai!

no.#3 : Directed Poses

baby wanna drink.. tsk tsk

So after three rounds of really close matched up competitions, we couldn't come up with a winner.

It was a hell of a night at Changi. Airport was so huge but not so much to do. Hopefully next time United would fly directly from M'sia.

"baby wanna feed fish!"

Lesson learned. Don't spend a night at the airport. May cause depression, attempt of fish murder, and binge eating.

'BURGEMBIRA' TIMES

What's the happiest burger??

BURGEMBIRA!!! =)

Burgembira nights are those nights we consider as our mamak-ing nights.
Reminds me of the old times back in Subang Jaya.

We'll go over to the Burger stall located opposite Swinburne Sarawak Campus.
The stall operates only at nights.
The burgers made by this dude really kicks ass.
We even got his number down but I don't have it. If you're really interested, give me a buzz and I can hook you up with either Vyner or Dict.

We can get Cheeseburgers and Beefburgers with added on cheese or upgraded buns (KAW buns).
I guess the secret ingredient of this secret ingredient burger isn't nothing, but the slice of pineapple he puts in between the meat and the bun.
*sounds like a scene from kungfu panda doens't it??

Happier than Happy Meal...

One bad thing is that there is no place to sit down and drink, so you gotta grab your burgers and bring them to somewhere else. The kopitiams along Jalan Song is the normal place we would go, and I'd recommend. Cheap and 24-7. ;)

Gotta warn you though, the wait could be really excruciating. There's only one burger-maker guy but tons of customers!

"Ka mei liaw, Sien ar"

Dict: "Chhhheeeee.... *#@!!!" and the forever patient Faiq

Cheers to BURGEMBIRA times!!!

WYD 2008 Sydney

Hey! I'm back with new postings.
I was too lazy to add anything since December
so here goes...

Was in Australia about a week ago, landed in Brisbane and then headed down to Sydney.
Sydney, not the capital of Australia, is a picturesque place for all you "city people".

A metropolis and a harbor.

The main attraction during that period was of course the World Youth Day WYD 2008

Pilgrims counting down to the WYD 2008 at St. Mary's Cathedral

St. Mary's Cathedral

WYD pilgrims pouring in...
at the jetty...

in the ferry...

It was exciting getting to Barangaroo for the Opening Mass but exhilarating to join the marching crowd!

The Opening Mass for WYD 2008 commenced at 4.30pm.
400,000 Catholics (could have been more).
Setting Sun.
City Lights.
It was a beautiful mass.

Mass at Barangaroo. The semi-oblong tent in the far center is where the altar was.

p/s: the capital of Australia is Canberra for those who don't know yet =)
